Well, you’re here, and welcome! We’re happy to tell you the tale.
There once was a man named Walter Croll. He was a firm believer in music. You could say it saved his life more than once. With a front row seat, he experienced its powers to inspire, soothe, and connect.
Over the years, an idea had taken root in him…a seed sown in youth. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to live in a church? Where, if one wanted, music could soar at a moment’s notice, as if to reach the heavens? Sing it, share it, send it. A beautiful dream, perhaps.
One day, life made it so. A shift came. As if waiting for just that moment, a little bird flew from Wrightstown, perched on his shoulder and sang her song. Walter turned his head to listen. He set his path to find a home where music reached up and out, and could take him with it. He picked up his guitar, packed his belongings, and made a leap. He landed in time, in tune, and with a song in his heart.
Here’s hoping that Turner Street Music Hall is, for a long time to come, a place for you and your neighbor to also land and to grow with music reaching up and out.
You can read here what Walter had to say to Brian Roebke in his fall 2021 interview with the Wrightstown Area Spirit, moments after taking the leap.
